NCAA Post-Season Tournament Rotisserie Rookie League Rules

1.  NCAA Post-Season Tournament League:  Each of the eight teams are made up of sixteen NCAA Division I basketball teams that were selected to participate in the sixty-eight team post-season tournament. Teams are selected by the league owner in a sixteen round draft before the tournament's first round games, with each NCAA tournament basketball team being selected only twice. The draft order is determined by random selection (i.e. picking numbers out of a hat). The first team selects its first team within the agreed-upon time limit (1 minute is suggested). The selection process then proceeds around the room until the last team has made its selection. This last team will have the next pick as the order is reversed in even numbered rounds. The process is repeated until every team has filled out its sixteen-team roster.

2.  Scoring:  Teams accumulate points by multiplying each NCAA tournament basketball team's seed by the round factor if they win that round's game. The first round has a factor of one, and each round has a factor double that of the previous round. The tournament has six rounds, with round factors of 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, and 32 (a number three seed that wins its first game would receive three points, and would receive six points if it wins its second game).
